TestPOD is a rugged all-in-one 4G/5G test & measurement solution designed for outdoor field testing and 3C (connected collaborative computing) network simulation. Based on ORS Duo hardware platform and Amarisoft test software, TestPOD bridges the gap between laboratory testing and mass deployment by bringing professional test capabilities to challenging outdoor environments.

TestPOD is powered by an Intel CPU with 12 cores and integrates a software-defined radio supporting 2 transmission and 2 reception channels with 50 MHz bandwidth, upgradable to 100 MHz. It can be synchronized via GPS or IEEE 1588v2 Ethernet backhaul. TestPOD includes a license for either Amarisoft 4G/5G UE simulator or Amarisoft 4G/5G network simulator, or both. It supports 3C network simulation, enabling user-defined edge, cloud, AI or OT services for end-to-end testing of radio access networks.

TestPOD is designed for outdoor deployment under challenging weather conditions and supports any frequency between 600MHz and 6GHz (with output power between -6 dBm and 0 dBm depending on the frequency). This makes it ideal for pilot vRAN deployments, drive testing, radio unit quality verification, UE simulation in the field, and end-to-end latency measurement of private 5G networks in outdoor industrial environments.
